Coding / Indexing
In order to be able to quickly retrieve documents, images must be indexed by specific, consistent pieces of information. This is also known as “coding” for legal or litigation support projects.
This process consists of cross-referencing each individual image to information pertinent to that document. This may consist of one “piece of information,” or field within a database, or many fields.
A few examples of indexing for different types of projects are shown below. Many types of structures may be utilized for organizing documents/files for document retrieval. AmDoc is more than happy to develop project-specific indices when required.
